Gift of Adoption Fund: Provides grants of up to $15,000 to complete both domestic and international adoptions. They have a Missouri chapter that has awarded $360,000 in adoption assistance grants to complete the adoptions of 120 children as of December 31, 2024.

HelpUsAdopt.org: Offers grants ranging from $500 to $15,000 to families adopting domestically and internationally, from foster care to special needs adoptions. There are no restrictions based on race, religion, marital status, or sexual orientation.

Show Hope: Provides adoption assistance grants to families adopting domestically or internationally. They have helped more than 7,900 children come home to their adoptive families.

Lifesong for Orphans: Offers matching grants and interest-free loans to Christian families to help with adoption expenses. They also provide fundraising support and coaching.

ABBA Fund: Provides interest-free loans to Christian families to help cover adoption expenses. These loans are typically no more than one-third of the total adoption cost.

A Child Waits Foundation: Offers grants ranging from $1,000 to $7,500 to families adopting internationally. Applicants typically must earn less than $150,000 annually.

National Adoption Foundation: Provides grants and low-cost loans between $500 and $2,000 to adoptive families. There are no income requirements, and funds can be used for any adoption-related expenses.

Katelyn's Fund: Offers grants to Christian families who are adopting domestically or internationally. Priority is given to families with an income under $100,000.

Pathways for Little Feet: Provides interest-free loans up to $10,000 to eligible Christian couples to assist with adoption costs. They also offer grants for post-adoption therapy.

America's Christian Credit Union: Offers low-interest adoption loans to Christian families, aiming to make the adoption process more affordable.

Additionally, many employers offer adoption benefits, including financial assistance and paid leave. It's advisable to check with your employer's human resources department to see if such benefits are available. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption also provides resources and rankings of adoption-friendly workplaces.

For residents of Missouri and Kansas, local organizations and foundations may offer additional grants or financial assistance. Research and reach out to local adoption agencies or foundations for more region-specific support is recommended.
